Gov. Palin was clearly prepared by sticking to her script and not answering direct questions. It will make her and Senator McCains base happy but I think that it will not move the middle. Most Americans are wise to avoiding answers. Senator Biden was smart, cool, very human and direct.
Call me an elitist but her use of folksy English drove me crazy. I think a potential Vice President should be a model with their speech.
9/27/08 - Relaxed Regulation should help clean up the mess on Wall Street
House Republicans are offering a bailout plan that includes insurance on mortgage backed securities (presumably through the Federal Insurance Branch better known as AIG), and LAXED REGULATION, and tax cuts(tax cuts for ?)! I hope the text of the bill includes funding for very big tubes directly to China so the Chinese can wire us big truckloads full of money.

The top 1% need tax breaks, and according to Donnie Trump less regulation (CNN interview Larry King 9/17/08). Gee I wonder why a rich bastard would have this opinion? The majority of our great advances in the Uniteds States have come from the little guy, or small business. The rich fat guy doesn't need to find a new food source, he has the resources to pay more than you and hoard the current supply. When did we have our last surge in wealth? The dot com boom when tons of small businesses got a start, lots of them made it, and employment boomed in Silicon Valley (not just for techies but all of the resources they depended on from grocery stores, to auto repair, to restaurants) to the point that finding a place to live there became difficult.

9/4/08 - Cnn's Campbell Brown and her double standard goodness!
Campbell Brown notes that Harry Reid's spokesman was stepping on thin ice replying to Palin's speech at the RNC as "shrill and sarcastic political attacks", because shrill refers to gender. Two days earlier I was a little shocked as Campbell (who pawned Tucker Bounds) ended her interview with "All right Tucker I'm gonna just give it to you baby". Can you imagine if Tucker had said "Campbell I'm gonna just give it to you baby"!!! Looks like someone can speak loosely, but gets a little sensitive when it hits home for her.
